MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department announced Monday, Aug. 25 that a criminal complaint has been filed against former civilian executive staff member Marcey Patterson following an internal investigation.

According to MPD, allegations of misconduct came up in June. Chief Jeffrey Norman directed the Internal Affairs Division to investigate, and the findings were sent to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors filed a complaint charging Patterson with one count of election fraud. The complaint states she voted in 12 Milwaukee elections between 2018 and 2025 while living outside the city.

Investigators said Patterson had not resided in Milwaukee since March 2018, first moving to a home in Glendale and later to an apartment in Brown Deer. Despit
