HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission continued their tradition of hosting a large display at the State Fair this year.

The commission starts planning the display in February each year, according to their marking coordinator, Emma Ebito.

“It takes so much,” Ebito said. “It is an entire agency effort. We’ve got everyone from parks to wildlife to communications, to marketing, to horticulture, fish and wildlife, education. It’s truly an entire agency effort, and it’s a great time for all of us to come together and work on this and get it ready for the public.”

The main attraction is the multi-hundred gallon fish tank, stocked fresh with critters from Nebraska lakes.
