A Henrico man died in a Saturday morning crash on Chippenham Parkway.

Richmond police responded at 4:52 a.m. to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Chippenham near the Forest Hill interchange. Officers arrived to find an overturned vehicle and an unresponsive man down in the roadway.

Police on Monday identified the victim of the crash as Omar Colina Leal, 20, of Henrico. Leal was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The crash is still being investigated, but the RPD Crash Team determined that speed was a factor.
