SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office said an Upstate woman is facing charges after she stole from a vulnerable adult.

Investigators said 25-year-old Iyonah Breshea Bonds used the victim’s debit card without consent and exploited the victim’s identifying information for personal gain.

The victim was a resident of Bevid Place Assisted Living Facility in Spartanburg.

The Attorney General’s Office said Bonds also defrauded Bank of America in the process of obtaining and misusing funds.

Bond is charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult, financial transaction card fraud, financial identity fraud, and crimes against a federally chartered or insured financial institution.

She was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center on Monday.
