Investigators say they believe gunfire in a downtown London shooting last week came from inside a vehicle and have released photos of suspect cars in a bid to identify those involved.

London police said they were called to Piccadilly Street, near Oxford and Talbot streets, around 2:45 p.m. Friday after multiple reports of possible gunshots .

Officers found evidence of damage from gunshots, but no injuries were reported – the city’s third shooting in just seven days.

On Monday, investigators released photos of two suspect vehicles: a white, four-door Chevrolet Trax and a newer blue or grey, four-door Nissan Kicks Play.
