“Shark Tank” star investor and entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary revealed on Monday that he was one of three people to purchase a Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan sports card for a record-breaking $12.932 million at an auction this past weekend.

“We bought it together, yes we did,” O’Leary told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Monday, noting that the other two buyers were investors Matt Allen and Paul Warshaw. “I’m very proud to own it.”

The collectible card, which features NBA uniform logos and signatures from both Bryant and Jordan, surpasses the previous record for most expensive sports card sold, a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311, which sold for $12.6 million in August 2022, according to Heritage Auctions .
