NEW LONDON, Conn. — This week, we're learning more about why the Trump Administration ordered a New England wind farm project to stop construction- after it was announced last week the Revolution Wind project can't move forward with work.
The project is 80% completed, and just off the coast of Rhode Island, in New London.
On Monday morning, state leaders gathered to call the decision unnecessary and shocking- and share what could happen to the project moving forward.
"The order cites a variety of concerns including a national security interest, and interference with regionally US waters," DEEP Commissioner Katie Dykes said.
