DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- Ohioans either want warm weather in September or hoping for an early start to fall, but why not have the best of both worlds?
Ohioans can agree that the Buckeye State's weather can be unpredictable, with 90-degree temps one day and 50-degree temps the next.
After a hot middle of the month, with highs entering the 90s, temperatures early this week will compare to normal highs early in October. It's a time dubbed "false fall," as warmer temperatures will return before summer officially ends.
NWS Wilmington meteorologist John Franks says it all has to do with the jet stream.
"Atmosphere is a fluid, and the jet stream is basically how the fluid is moving around the pole," said Franks. "We get waves along that and within those waves, what they'll do is they will kick
