LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Elizabethtown police have arrested a man they say fired 13 shots early Sunday morning.

Police said officers went to the Cherry Alley parking lot off North Main Street around 9:15 a.m. to follow up on a shots fired call that came in around 3:30 a.m.; while the initial call reported the shots, responding officers couldn't find anything.

When the officers arrived the second time, they found 13 spent shell casings; no injuries or property damage was reported, police said.

Security footage showed a gray Chevrolet Impala in the lot around the time of the incident. It caught what was believed to be muzzle flashes from the driver's side before it left heading south on North Main Street. Authorities believe the shooter fired the gun into the air.
