O’FALLON, Ill. (First Alert 4) - O’Fallon police arrested several minors over the weekend due to multiple fights.

The fights occurred during O’Fallon’s City Fest from Friday to Saturday.

On Friday night at approximately 9 p.m., two separate fights broke out near the ride area, all involving minors.

On Saturday night, multiple fights broke out, with the first one reported occurring at 4:55 p.m.

At approximately 7:53 p.m., shots were fired behind Community Financial and Phillips 66. After the shots were fired, police arrested five minors. Since then, four of the minors have been released without charges and one is pending charges.

Police departments from Belleville, Fairview Heights, Shiloh, St. Clair County and Illinois State assisted O’Fallon police and fire departments.
