LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The aftermath of what Governor Joe Lombardo called a "network security incident" poured into Monday for those with DMV appointments.
Statewide outages in Nevada began Sunday, but the headache continued into Monday for some offices, including the Nevada DMV, which closed all its offices on Monday.
Despite the closures, Brittany Robinson received a confirmation text Monday morning for her appointment at the DMV near Sahara and Eastern avenues. However, she showed up to learn that wasn't the case.
“My initial reaction was that it was a mistake, because I received a text message this morning confirming my appointment that I've been waiting about a month for,” Robinson told 8 News Now.
