WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (WKOW) — Search efforts have concluded on the Wisconsin River following the discovery of a man's body. Officials with the Juneau County Sheriff's Office located the body of a 41-year-old man who reportedly jumped from a tour boat on Sunday. The body was recovered around 12:15 p.m. on Monday.

Tim Zumm, president of Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway, shared insights on river safety. Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway (FLOW) did not help with this search but intended to when WKOW spoke with them.

"Don't try swimming upriver against the current. Just work yourself one way or the other," said Zumm.

Zumm emphasized the deceptive nature of the river's appearance.
