Burning Man, the famed communal celebration of art and hedonism, opened Aug. 24 in the desert of northwestern Nevada and runs until Sept. 1.

A Burning Man livestream is viewable at the top of this page, with the camera pointed at center camp, where the Man statue stands until it is burned Aug. 30.

In addition, the webcast this year will feature interviews from the " Burning Man Live" podcast , organizers say.

Worth noting is that the livestream saw an outage during the opening days of this year's Burning Man. Technical challenges are par for the course in this dusty, isolated stretch of desert 100 miles northeast of Reno.
