VIENNA, Ill. (KFVS) - A recent grant from the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation will help food banks in southern Illinois.
Arrowleaf, a nonprofit organization, announced it received $7,500 to support its two Client Choice Food Pantries in Vienna and Cairo.
“This partnership with the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation allows us to strengthen the impact of our food pantries in Vienna and Cairo,” said Arrowleaf CEO Sherrie L. Crabb. “By giving families the ability to choose the foods that best meet their needs, we’re not only addressing hunger but also supporting dignity, health, and resilience in our communities.”
Officials with the nonprofit say the grant will help ensure families across southern Illinois have access to fresh, nutritious food.
