SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — As part of Monday’s City Council agenda, council members voted on more than $500,000 in grant funding for improvements at Sioux Gateway Airport. The vote ended unanimously.

The money will target a south ramp reconstruction project and terminal roof replacement.

Sioux Gateway will also soon enjoy a 50% increase in flight capacity. A second daily nonstop flight to Denver will be added on January 6, 2026, through SkyWest Airlines.
