MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Nytavious Stone’s family is devastated, struggling to make sense of what they call a senseless tragedy.

The 25-year-old father of two was shot and killed Saturday night outside the Buffalo Wild Wings in Milledgeville, where he worked.

“We didn’t make it to family night, and I got there. And I was broken,” his sister Natalie Stone said. “The phone call broke me. I didn’t want nobody to hurt my baby brother.”

Stone’s sisters described him as a proud dad, a loyal brother, and the kind of person who could brighten a room just by walking into it.

“It’s unreal and so senseless,” one said as the family gathered around photos, laughing and crying, remembering a life now cut short.
