EUGENE — The FCS national runner-up comes to Autzen Stadium with a familiar quarterback a few critical returning pieces with an otherwise unfamiliar opponent.

Former Stanford quarterback Justin Lamson was named the starter for Montana State, which visits No. 7 Oregon on Saturday (1 p.m., Big Ten Network).

The Ducks defeated Lamson when he was with the Cardinal in 2023, limiting him to 11 of 20 passing for 106 yards and 22 carries for 32 yards with four sacks.
