CLEVELAND, Ohio — Monday’s game between the Guardians and Tampa Bay entered a rain delay at 8:15 p.m. with the Rays leading, 5-0 in the top of the seventh inning.

The game is set to resume at 8:53 p.m., per the Guardians.

Tampa had just scored on a solo home run by Yandy Diaz off Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee. Guardians manager summoned lefty Tim Herrin from the bullpen, and Herrin threw one pitch to Brandon Lowe before crew chief Todd Tichenor called for the tarp.
