IOWA CITY — The Iowa football program published its first depth chart of the 2025 season on Monday.

The Hawkeyes last released a depth chart during spring practices and opted not to release a depth chart ahead of fall camp like in previous seasons.

Following Iowa's open spring practice in April, head coach Kirk Ferentz said the program changed its usual practice due to the ongoing changes to the landscape of college athletics.

“As we stand here right now, you can ask about the starters and all that, but there are going to be a lot of things that aren't going to be decided in August,” Ferentz said. “And, then maybe even into the season, which is not a bad thing, because I think we have good competition.
