The junior threw for more than 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, leading the Knights to a 6-4 record and a postseason berth for the second time in three years.
Coach Dale Rule said his quarterback has never lacked for confidence.
“He’s a gunslinger and he wants to be the best quarterback in the state,” Rule said. “Owen is not afraid to make a mistake.”
