Before the final lineup was picked for this year’s annual Cleveland Jewish FilmFest, Deborah Bobrow, the arts and culture manager at the Mandel Jewish Community Center in Beachwood, sorted through hundreds of films before narrowing down her selections to present to the co-chairs and the committee.

The result was a 33 film lineup composed of documentaries, comedies, feature films, short films and more. Each one, she said, of the highest quality in production, subject matter and hopeful audience enjoyment.

Although she has no favorite, as they are all “so worthy of attention,” she said, Bobrow highlighted a few films that she found especially noteworthy in this year’s lineup.
