According to GasBuddy, the average price for a gallon in greater Cincinnati has increased almost 35 cents in the last week, averaging $3.43 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Cincinnati was priced at $2.61 Sunday, while the most expensive was $3.49.
But there is good news.
The increase is because a major refinery in Indiana temporarily shut down due to flooding.
So it won't last long.
The refinery is back up and running, and GasBuddy projects prices to come back down in the next week.
