High pressure will dominate through the rest of the workweek, giving us a much-needed break from the summer stickiness. Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 70s to mid 80s, which is 5 to 10 degrees below where we normally are this time of year. Morning lows will fall into the low and mid 60s, and some sheltered inland spots could even dip into the upper 50s by midweek nights.
