Leeds Festival 2026 is in ‘stronger position', according to boss Melvin Benn.

The head of Festival Republic, which oversees Leeds Festival and sister event Reading Festival, has started to offer hints of what to expect at Braham Park next August. From our chat backstage to Leeds Festival boss Melvin Benn we already know that two headline acts are booked .

While he didn’t reveal who the acts are, that's sure to be very exciting news to many. Previewing Leeds Festival 2026, Melvin explained: “I am going to have to make all of these bespoke campsites bigger (following an overhaul this year) and, I do know that, because the popularity is immense (from the response he’s experienced). So that's already done.
