ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One of the sisters accused of setting a fire that killed a five-year-old boy pleaded guilty Tuesday morning.
Tiakayla Hendrix accepted a plea offer of second-degree arson from the DA's Office, which carries a 12-year prison sentence with five years of post-release supervision. If she breaks the agreement, she could be sentenced to up to 25 years.
Furthermore, she waived her right to appeal and agreed to testify in future trials. The DA told News 8 that the agreement was amenable to the family.
