Week 1 of the college football season has arrived. Here's more on where and when the state's four major programs will be playing:

Alabama at FSU, 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug, 30

Alabama marches into Tallahassee to take on the Seminoles on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium.

The Crimson Tide were a disappointment by their standards in 2024 in Kalen DeBoer’s first season as head coach, finishing 9-4.

However, the Seminoles were perhaps the biggest disappointment in college football, going just 2-10.

The coach of the losing team will immediately be thrust onto the hot seat.
