PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- A woman was shot twice during a fight with her neighbor in a Brooklyn apartment building Tuesday morning, police said.
The 49-year-old woman was struck in the arm and leg inside the building at 399 St. John's Place in Prospect Heights at around 8:45 a.m., according to the NYPD. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
David Nurse, 66, allegedly shot the woman after she called 911 to complain about screaming in the apartment, police said.
Nurse then temporarily barricaded himself in the second-floor apartment, authorities said.
The charges were pending.
