THE New York Giants have released one of their fan favorite players.

Tommy DeVito , affectionately referred to as Tommy Cutlets, did not make the Giants' final roster this season.

With four quarterbacks on the Giants' roster during the preseason, DeVito found himself as the odd man out.

According to the New York Post, DeVito is expected to draw interest from other teams.

If he is claimed off of waivers by noon on Wednesday, the team that picks him up must keep him for the first three weeks of the regular season.

However, if DeVito clears waivers, he can either return to the Giants' practice squad or join a new team.

DeVito quickly rose to fame during the 2022 season, when he started six games in relief of Daniel Jones .
