ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Georgia could lose more than $4.5 million in federal education funding if it doesn’t remove all references to gender ideology from a state program.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services demanded 46 states and territories remove all references to gender ideology in their federally funded Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) educational materials within 60 days.
“This action reflects the Trump Administration’s ongoing commitment to protecting children from attempts to indoctrinate them with delusional ideology,” the department said.
