OSCODA – The Wurtsmith Restoration Advisory Board, as recently reported, will be gathering this week for their latest quarterly meeting on the per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances contamination at the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base (WAFB) in Oscoda.

As a reminder, the meeting is scheduled to go on from 5-8 p.m. this Wednesday, Aug. 27.

It will be held in the Oscoda United Methodist Church, located at 120 W. Dwight St., and in-person attendees are also invited to arrive an hour prior to the meeting, for an informal poster session between 4-5 p.m.

Virtual attendance, for the meeting portion only, is also being offered. To participate remotely, through Microsoft Teams, registration is available at bit.ly/45VXOlP .
