U.S. 90 westbound is closed as of Tuesday morning following a crash.

State Police say a crash happened at the highway's intersection with Jefferson Island Road (La. 675)

One person was seriously injured, troopers say.

As of 11 a.m., they're asking motorists to be patient or seek an alternate route as first responders are still clearing the scene.
