Police are investigating after shots were fired at a North Vancouver home early Sunday morning.
According to North Vancouver RCMP, the homeowner called police after hearing what sounded like gunfire near his home in the 900-block Tollcross Road, and later finding bullet holes in his property.
Investigators found bullet casings outside and spoke to neighbours who also heard the gunfire around 4 a.m.
The home was occupied at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.
“This is an unsettling incident that understandably causes concern in the community,” said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak of North Vancouver RCMP. “At this time, the motive remains under investigation and there is no known threat to public safety.”
Property records show the home is owned by the driver of the speed boat involved in a
