Country star Morgan Wallen insists he’s the problem — and according to the town of Foxborough, he’s right.
The country star was fined for playing 14 minutes past the town’s 11:30 p.m. curfew during his Friday night show at Gillette Stadium, the first of Wallen’s two sold-out shows at the home of the Patriots.
According to the Boston Herald , Wallen was fined $0.25 per attendee, leaving the country singer $15,705 in the hole.
Wallen — who has rocketed to success with a rebellious, devil-may-care persona — likely won’t be bothered by the fine. Indeed, during his show Friday night , the singer played a highlight reel of some of his most controversial moments, including his abrupt exit from Studio 8H after performing on “Saturday Night Live.”
