Tyquan Thornton has found his footing with the Chiefs.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz , the speedy wideout has made Kansas City’s 53-man roster. A Patriots second-round pick in 2022, Thornton was never able to make an impact in Foxborough, but will have a chance to with the reigning AFC champions this season.

Thornton struggled to stay on the field during his three years with the Patriots, catching 39 passes for 385 yards in 28 games. He hauled in 51% of his targets and began each of his first two seasons on injured reserve. In the midst of an underwhelming 2024 (four receptions, 47 yards) the Patriots waived Thornton last November.
