The "Showgirl" and the football star are tying the knot!
Ahead of her upcoming album "The Life of a Showgirl" and the upcoming NFL season, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged after dating rumors swirled in 2023. The 14-time Grammy winner and two-time Super Bowl champ announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the couple wrote.
A five-photo carousel showed Swift and Kelce surrounded by flowers with Travis on one knee. She also included a close-up shot of her massive Old Mine Brilliant cut diamond.
Thirteen lucky days after her podcast appearance on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, the pair are over the moon as they prepare to tie the knot.
Here's a look back at their whirlwind romance.

Swift confirmed her new album on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast Aug. 13, which he hosts with his brother and retired Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce.
"This is my brand-new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl,'" Swift said.
On Aug. 26, the couple announced that Kelce proposed to Swift with a Kindred Lubeck-designed ring. Swift's announcement carousel led with a shot of Kelce down on one knee surrounded by flowers.
The third photo in the carousel provided a close-up of the ring while the rest of the shots showed the pair embracing in a dreamy garden setting.

Earlier this summer, Swift made her Instagram debut on Kelce's page. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end posted a carousel of 13 photos, writing that he "had some adventures this offseason."

February 2024: Travis Kelce celebrates Super Bowl win with Taylor Swift
Swift attended the Chiefs' win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas one day after performing in Tokyo. During the game, Swift was shown on the Allegiant Stadium videoboard with Blake Lively and chugged her drink.
After Kelce's big win, the couple embraced on the field in a moment caught by NFL cameras.
"Thank you for coming, baby," Kelce said, as Swift said, "Oh, I cannot believe that." Kelce and Swift later celebrated together by singing and dancing to Swift's music at a Las Vegas nightclub.

September 2023: Taylor Swift celebrates with Travis Kelce's mom
Their love story sparked when Swift accepted an invitation from Kelce, made public during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," and attended the Chiefs' 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears in Kansas City, Missouri. She sat with Kelce's mother, Donna, in a suite wearing a red-and-white Chiefs jacket.

In July 2023, Kelce attended the second Kansas City show of Swift's Eras Tour. The tight end hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet (popular among her "Swifties" during the nostalgia-tinged tour) with his phone number on it, but was unsuccessful.
Then, after the concert, Kelce called Swift out on an episode of his podcast "New Heights."
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Kelce said to his brother, Jason. When word got to Swift, the singer reached out.
