SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno alongside other city officials announced that swan boats at Forest Park’s Porter Lake will be available to rent through the end of September.

People can rent boats from 11 in the morning to 6 in the evening, with the last rental time being at 5:30. The rental fee is $5 for a 30-minute boat ride, and passengers can expect lifeguards on duty as well as flotation devices during their ride.
