Sooner than anyone could have envisioned, Jonah Tong has arrived.

The Mets are calling up the top prospect, The Post confirmed Tuesday, a righty who might have been the best pitcher in all of the minor leagues this season.

The 22-year-old made just two starts for Triple-A Syracuse — in which he did not surrender a run — before getting the call to join a Mets staff that already includes promising rookie Nolan McLean.

The Mets are amid a stretch of 16 games in 16 days and Tong will get the ball Friday against the Marlins.
