Several young 49ers players have benefited from Deommodore Lenoir's increasing leadership role, including second-year cornerback Renardo Green.
After an impressive rookie campaign , Green spent part of the offseason in Lenoir's hometown in Los Angeles, as the two were able to strengthen their bond both on and off the field.
Green spoke to reporters after 49ers practice Monday and shared what that experience was like.
"It was good. That's my boy," Green said. "We're brothers. We train together, go to war together. The bonds that you can build off the field are going to show up on the field when he needs my back or I need his. And that goes for anybody on the team.
"So it was a good experience. That's my boy. Me and DMo, we good."
