WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Wichita woman selling baked goods in a roadside stand to pay for her cancer treatment is facing a new challenge: she may have to move.
Jennifer Gordy started a roadside bakery to help cover her medical expenses. She said business has been strong, but her landlord recently told her the stand has to go, citing concerns about traffic.

Gordy said she understands her landlord’s concerns, but closing isn’t an option.
“This is absolutely the last thing that I needed,” Gordy said. “To deal with the stress of restructuring my bakery and redirecting all of my customers to a whole new location and hoping they will travel, maybe even further.”
