WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Sedgwick County Public Works has posted a large stop sign at an intersection that has drawn a lot of attention following a deadly crash.

Now, drivers who approach 29th Street N. at 135th Street West will see a stop signs that are 48 inches, opposed to 36 inches.

Notices were added under the stop signs to inform drivers that cross traffic does not stop.

The county said the intersection is part of the County’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to be addressed in the future.
