STOUGHTON, Wis. (WKOW) — An 18-year-old man was arrested by Stoughton Police Department officers on Monday for criminal damage to property.

The arrest follows a series of incidents where significant damage was caused to vehicles, businesses and homes in the area, according to police.

Police said the suspect, who was not named, is believed to have caused thousands of dollars in damages.

The investigation is ongoing.
