MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hot dogs are raising money for some real dogs.
To celebrate National Dog Day, Jake’s Diggity Dogs in Milford teamed up with Milford Orange Animal Rescue (MOAR) to raise money.
MOAR is dedicated to improving the lives of animals, from rehabilitation to rehoming. “Milford is a great town and it's full of people who love animals,” MOAR President Marlene Scrivani said. “So we are here to help support that.”
For every hot dog sold Tuesday, 75 cents was donated to MOAR. All proceeds will benefit the Animal Clinic of Milford.
“I hope that we can make the animals a little brighter of a day,” Bob Heon of Jake’s Diggity Dogs said.
