FLORENCE, Ky. —
Two people were arrested after allegedly breaking into cars in a Northern Kentucky subdivision and stealing items.
The thefts were reported around 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, when Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Cheshire Ridge area in Florence. Advertisement
Deputies met with several people who said their cars were broken into, with one victim reporting damage caused by a suspect prying open a car door.
Deputies were led to Upper Court in Union, where they discovered a set of stolen car keys an additional stolen items in a trash can.
The sheriff’s office says two people were arrested, identifying them as 24-year-old Jacob Scudder and 26-year-old Isaac New.
