ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - LSU of Alexandria teamed up with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) to host an open house on August 26, giving the public a chance to learn more about the free resources available to local businesses and entrepreneurs.
The event took place at 2 p.m. in Chambers Hall on the LSUA campus and welcomed community members who are interested in starting or growing a business. Attendees got to meet the LSBDC team and learn how the center helps create jobs and boost the local economy.
A highlight of the event was the introduction of Britni Lilley, the center’s new business consultant. She explained that the LSBDC offers free and confidential help to anyone with a business idea, even if they don’t know where to begin.
