ATLANTA (WILX) - Running back Nathan Carter went undrafted out of Michigan State in the 2025 NFL Draft, but signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons and made the team’s final 53-man roster after a strong preseason.

Carter’s biggest highlight of the preseason was a 43-yard touchdown run vs. Tennessee. Across three preseason games, Carter posted 16 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown.

After beginning his college career at UConn, Carter transferred to Michigan State and played two years for the Spartans. In his final season in East Lansing, Carter had 116 carries for 499 yards and five touchdowns and added 18 receptions for 173 yards and two scores.
