FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo high school student is running a non-profit organization to help special education teachers.

David Ha, a senior at Davies High School, started The Equal Start Foundation in early July.

After volunteering with his mother at Gigi’s Playhouse, he began to research special education.

The federal government had previously promised to fund 40% but it has never exceeded 20%.

With his foundation, he has started various fundraisers, with one on GoFundMe raising over $800.
