The Vice Minister of Prevention, Citizen Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia, assured that Venezuela has become a safe country thanks to the popular, military and police fusion.

In this regard, he stated that Venezuela has 1,9 homicide victims per 100 inhabitants, which represents a significant decrease compared to previous years.

Palencia commented that this year there has also been a "substantial decrease" in reports of acts of vandalism in educational center structures.

Promoting the Peace Quadrants

He also emphasized that all these security efforts are largely due to the promotion of the Peace Quadrants, an assertive citizen security policy led by the Bolivarian Government, aimed at guaranteeing security and peace in the national territory.
