Opposition party president Daniel Ceballos denounced the U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean as a strategy of intimidation against the Venezuelan people.

Opposition leader and president of the Arepa Digital party, Daniel Ceballos, joined the group of politicians who have publicly expressed their rejection to the actions of the American government.

"The US and Trump policy of militarizing the Caribbean is misguided and part of the mistaken decisions we've seen in the past."

He also recalled that this same administration was the one that supported Juan Guaidó's actions and the formation of an illegal "interim government."
