Crews from the State Environmental Health Directorate (DESA) of the state of Amazonas are intensifying fumigation and abatement campaigns in the municipality of Atures to combat the spread of vector-borne diseases, as part of the "Pícale adelante al dengue" (Kick Dengue Out) Plan.
The State Health Department posted on its Instagram account that the team led by doctors Janeida García and Jorman Blanco, from the Vector Control Coordination, deployed this week to the communities of Monte Bello, Upata, Quebrada Seca, Zamuro, and José Antonio Páez.
