HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- New rules have been adopted for golf carts in Vanderburgh County.

According to officials, the new rules will allow people to ride their golf carts in their subdivision and includes restrictions to young people driving the carts. Drivers must now be 18-years-old with a driver's license,

The golf cart must have headlights and taillights, and drivers can’t travel on certain roads or sidewalks. This ordinance follows the same rules as off-Road vehicles, which include side-by-sides and 4-wheelers.
